Hello Selene,
At the beginning with more limited resources, the key was to make sure the product could easily fit for a wide range of clients and would not be disproportionately time-consuming for the team to manage once we increase the client base. Over time and with more financial resources, we tried to gradually increase the team across key functions to ensure we could deliver the next phase of growth, including for example the product development team in order to delevelop new features, the client success team in order to ensure clients were happy, the business development and marketing team for securing new clients, etc.
No silver bullet to stay ahead of the curve, but ensuring the product continues to innovate in order to meet the (evolving) needs of the market, as well as having a large client base, as certainly essential.
