Thanks for the question! Just like sales, marketing activities can be placed along a funnel, with content and campaigns to support each stage, from awareness building to helping create customer advocates.

As a marketing team, we focus on regularly communicating with sales and business development so they’re aware of upcoming events and webinars as well as new blog posts and content. We’ve instated quarterly business reviews with sales and client success to get feedback on marketing programs from the previous quarter and set expectations for coming quarter.

Sales and marketing alignment is really important to me as companies in which these teams are aligned experience higher sales win rates.
