Hi Omar,
Thanks for your question. The strengths we look for in people will vary depending on the role. We have a number of open positions that require different traits and are quite explicitly outlined in our job descriptions but let me know if there is a particular job you are interested in and I’d be happy to expand, you can find the open positions here: https://www.pathmotion.co/careers
One general trait we look for in many of the roles we have available is leadership capabilities as we are a growing company and people we hire today will quickly become our leaders of tomorrow.
But beyond strengths, we look for cultural fit as it’s crucial for everyone to work in an environment where they feel connected and get along with the people around them. This is the only way to create this extra little something for us at PathMotion and for every stakeholder which interacts with our team, including clients, candidates or suppliers.
In terms of cultural fit, we look for people who are humble and integer but very ambitious and passionate and work towards high standards in everything they do (both in their professional and personal life). We look for people who are not afraid to innovative and go against the tide when needed, including in their way of working. We look for people who are obviously fun to work with because we strongly believe that it’s a key component to make team work successful which in itself is essential to our success. Finally, one constant value that the team puts forward at every one of our bi-yearly away weekends is the family component of PathMotion. This means we stand for each other and help each other when needed, it also means we fight with each other from time to time but never something too serious.
What is your take on cultural fit? Is it something you have seen being important and valued in your previous employments? Any best practices to bring it to life?
Best,
David
