Kaeshelle C.

client success manager

Hey Zoe!

Yes, I do remember you - thanks for your question.

Are you applying to one of our open positions?

As for your question, there are a few reasons why you should choose PathMotion over a grad scheme:

1) Early exposure

For me, one of the great things about working in a small company is that I have gained early exposure to senior professionals in our industry (HR). As Client Success Manager, I'm constantly working with decision-makers to implement our product. It's incredible, I've gained so much confidence early on in my career as the clients trust me to take them on a journey and meet their objectives! Clients have even invited me to events and award nights to celebrate their achievements which is awesome.

2) Endless learning opportunities

Also, working in a small and dynamic startup means that there are endless opportunities to learn from my colleagues and draw on their expertise. From the Co-Founders, Sales, Product, etc. each of them have come from different backgrounds and experiences and they're all more than happy to help you with a project you might working on or simply offer some advice.

This even happened today after a little chat. Next week Olivier C. is going to teach me and Corinne H. how to do a mail merge for something we're working on.

3) Tangible impact of your work

Again, as we're a small company there aren't several layers of hierarchy and authority that limit you from seeing the tangible impact of your work. Fortunately, I'm not just working on lots of small projects that contribute to a bigger picture. Actually, I get to see the whole bigger picture of how my work integrates with other teams in the business. It's always exciting to see the immediate effect of a new idea that I've either suggested or implemented.

4) Team away events

Finally, I've already been on fun and crazy team away events to Brussels, Berlin, and (soon Agadir). I'm not convinced that these kind of events would be organised in a more traditional and established firm, given the logistics and potential complications of it all.

I hope this helps :D

Corinne M.

Client and Account Coordinator

Hey Zoe!

I definitely agree with Kaeshelle here. As a placement student, I think that PathMotion is a great place to learn and to grow. I am mainly in the Client Success team but I also worked on other projects for various departments (i.e. marketing, product&). This was an invaluable experience as I got to learn what I liked and what I didn’t. I got to discover myself a bit more and I can have a clearer idea of what I’d like to do in the future.

It’s also gratifying to be in a workplace where your voice is heard and your ideas valued. I have been able to contribute my ideas to certain problems and they are now ongoing projects!

One last thing, we get frequent team lunch outside! :D
