Hi Zachary, great question. I was a Client Success Manager for over three years at PathMotion. In this type of position, you generally have eyes across all of your clients at all times, their activity on the platforms, how/when is best to contact them, etc. to provide any relevant support when needed.
It's generally the Client Success Manager's job to figure out what is needed on a per-client basis, this spans from on-boarding and integrating a new platform with a client, to training and support. Day-to-day activities can include visiting client sites, liaising with other teams to organise events with clients, and being ready to respond to anything that comes upbe it a question, product request or general advice.
Over the last few years I've worked closely with clients and gathered their feedback, the platform is the way it is now due largely in part to their ideas, and how they've found the platform effective.
Hope this gives you a little idea of what it's like to work at PM!

Head of Client Success France
Hello Zachary, and thank you for your question.
Jonathon covered the vast majority of our missions, so I don't need to add much. I would just insist on the fact that a client success manager also has a lot of responsibilities in terms of sales. Keeping our clients every year is one of the biggest priorities we have as a company. Being a client success manager means that you have to know every detail of the sales process to manage the renewals for each client. You need to be autonomous, well organised and determined to succeed.
And of course, to be able to do so means that you need to create a great relationship with clients, to know everything about their platform and what they want to achieve with PathMotion. We are lucky to work with fantastic people and fascinating companies, which represent more than 10 sectors, so you always have to learn something and it's really satisfying to help them reach their goals.
As you can see, it's a multipurpose position! That's what I personally love about my job, it's the perfect mix between commercial, advisory, client relationship, expertise in your domain and "product strategy".
I hope my answer will help you, and wish you luck! ;)
Have a great day.
Florian
