Hi,

We try to empower the team to take as much ownership as possible of their work. For example, we seek to minimise "reporting meetings" to a once-a-week review of key weekly priorities, after which the person can focus on delivering.

This approach helps make sure everyone has a chance to get their best out. It also allows co-founders to save time to focus on growing the business.

That said we do care about delivering quality work, not least because we work with very large brands who have high expectations, and so we will not shy away from providing feedback on how something can be improved.

We therefore seek to recruit candidates who have sufficient track record in their area of work, who are hungry to grow and at the same time are open to feedback on how to improve.

What are your thoughts on this approach?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
This style would suit me personally, great to know that the opportunity is there to flourish individually and grow with the role. Ultimately delivery of results is all important and I would always be open to constructive feedback.

Jupiterian ! The 2 bosses have the vision. They listen a lot to our ideas, but they are the one who decide. Just like on a pirate ship.

That makes life very easy :)

For example : 1 week after I joined, David R. subscribed to PayFit as soon as I suggested using it.
