Client and Account Coordinator
Hi Noel, good to hear from you!
A typical day might start with helping a client solve a query that has come in overnight. I'd look to find a solution and get back to the client ASAP, because we pride ourselves on being proactive and putting the client first.
I might then move on to creating a sales presentation for a prospective client. This would involve researching the prospect and analysing their current employer brand (how they're engaging their candidates, how this compares to their competitors etc.). I'd then aim to show how PathMotion can help them improve this. Lots of these prospects will be pretty cool companies, and I've made presentations for 21st Century Fox, Teach First, Coca-Cola etc.
Next, I'd look to spend some time on one of the broader projects going on at the time. Clearly, these tasks vary, but the goal is always to make our product even better or make our processes more efficient. For instance, I was asked to come up with a new way of categorising all content across all client platforms. This involved lots of analysis, problem-solving and creativity. At the end of it, I presented my findings to the co-founders and we're currently in the process of implementing my ideas. I hope this all shows that interns make a real difference at PathMotion!
You'll also have the opportunity to conduct Insider training sessions and other client-facing tasks, so you'll be presenting to some very impressive people from some very impressive companies!
As you can hopefully see, one of the great things about the role is that you'll be heavily involved in various projects, across various departments, at any one time. Time management can be tricky, but that means that you can never get bored and that you're constantly learning new things!
