Il est important d'être curieux, on ne sait pas toujours ce qu'on veut faire, c'est la curiosité qui va permettre de découvrir des possibilités auxquelles on aurait pas forcément pensé. Il faut s'intéresser aux choses, aux personnes que vous rencontrez. Et avant toute chose, il faut prendre du plaisir et que vos choix aient du sens pour vous. Ça vous permettra naturellement d'être motivé et investi dans votre métier et de vous épanouir.

Having worked in the tech industry for a number of years, it's safe to say that things constantly change. It's always good to keep learning as processes change, individual mind sets will change and ultimately technology not only changes but advances. If you can stay ahead of the curve and continue to learn, you will naturally improve your skill set.

Never assume you know, even if you are sure you do. Sometimes talking less and listening more is the greatest way to grow.

The most important is to be continuously learning and sharing with others.

The best way I've found to progress is to always be willing to take on extra responsibilities and to anticipate the next steps or questions your manager is likely to ask.

…because if you don’t, no one else will, but always stay humble along the way. Over the years I found that the biggest difference between successful and less successful people doesn’t lie in intelligence or resources at hand but in the capacity of believing that you can make things happen. You obviously need to stay humble and adapt to what the market is telling you but your inner belief usually will lead you in the right direction, even if the road needs to be adapted. Belief makes you tenacious and passionate, it pushes you to experiment and explore and allows you to bring people around your ideas and make them help you make what seems difficult and unrealistic, possible and obvious!

10 years ago I never would've thought I'd get the opportunity to work across 3 continents in 5 different roles all with the same company, don't be afraid to get out of your own way and chase that success!

Don’t sweat the small stuff! Focus on the key aspects of your career that are important to you, the rest will sort itself out.

Vu mon parcours atypique, j'ai du m'adapter à beaucoup de nouvelles choses, et développer parfois des compétences en un temps éclair. Ce qui a fait que j'ai réussi est simple : je n'ai jamais perdu confiance en moi, ce qui m'a toujours permis de garder la tête froide et d'avancer même dans les moments difficiles. Une carrière est remplie de surprises et de nouveautés qui peuvent parfois paraître insurmontables, mon conseil est donc de toujours garder confiance en ses capacités et en ses facultés d'adaptation. Si tu es arrivé(e) là où tu en es aujourd'hui, cela veut dire que tu peux aller encore toujours plus loin, et même te surprendre ! N'aie peur de rien, crois en toi et fonce : vouloir c'est pouvoir !
