Moved from managing marketing for recruitment agencies to SAAS

I originally started working in marketing in the publishing sector, which was a great foundation for today's content-centric marketing. I worked as a specialist in marketing for recruitment agencies for around 12 years, before choosing to join PathMotion as Head of Marketing. I have always looked for roles where I can directly impact the bottom line and which have great potential for growth. PathMotion is an amazing product and the market is right for rapid growth. It's also a really friendly and supportive environment to work in.

Responsible for marketing for lead generation

I put together campaigns to help support the UK and French sales teams attract and convert new leads, as well as looking after the PathMotion brand as a whole. Activities can vary from website maintenance, content creation, PPC advertising, email marketing, event management to the maintenance of our CRM database.

Great potential working in a really collaborative environment

I love working in marketing. You typically get involved in a wide range of projects and liaise with all areas of the organisation. Lead generation is particularly satisfying, as you can really measure the impact of your work and how it affects the business.

Anticipate and volunteer

The best way I've found to progress is to always be willing to take on extra responsibilities and to anticipate the next steps or questions your manager is likely to ask.
