From large corporates to my own business!
I always aspired to start my own business and build a working environment that reflects my values while pursuing an exciting challenge that could have a real impact on people’s lives but wanted to gain some experience beforehand.
Throughout my career I have always been passionate about helping people in their career decisions and strongly believe that a lot of our decisions are made through learning from the stories and insights of other people. That’s how I made most of my choices and what we based PathMotion around!
I joined GE’s Financial arm when graduating because, what is now a great friend, convinced me of their outstanding leadership programme and the exciting travel opportunities which eventually took me through London, Munich, Paris, the US and Mexico.
I then joined an SME in the travel industry where I had the opportunity to manage people and work on a variety of issues. I took some time off to travel & volunteer through South America before attending INSEAD for my MBA. I nearly launched my first start-up just after INSEAD but my partner ended joining McKinsey & Co. while I joined The Boston Consulting Group.
Unlock growth & help people achieve their goals
As co-founder, I’m lucky to be involved in every aspect of the business but I spend most of my time unlocking growth opportunities for PathMotion whilst ensuring people are supported in achieving their goals.
Seeing people flourish at PathMotion
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing people develop and grow at PathMotion. We carefully choose & select potential leaders and give them an environment where they can grow and progress, when we succeed in doing that, we feel proud and happy.
On a more personal side, I love to create new opportunities and open new markets, especially when they appear difficult and challenging. The US is our next challenge!
Believe in yourself…
…because if you don’t, no one else will, but always stay humble along the way.
Over the years I found that the biggest difference between successful and less successful people doesn’t lie in intelligence or resources at hand but in the capacity of believing that you can make things happen. You obviously need to stay humble and adapt to what the market is telling you but your inner belief usually will lead you in the right direction, even if the road needs to be adapted. Belief makes you tenacious and passionate, it pushes you to experiment and explore and allows you to bring people around your ideas and make them help you make what seems difficult and unrealistic, possible and obvious!
Creating a (second) family at PathMotion
I’m proud to have managed to create with my co-founders an environment where people feel at home.
At a recent team event we all came up with what reflects PathMotion’s values and culture and the team came with the following words: family, humility, passion, happiness and open and described PathMotion’s employees to be ambitious, believers and kind. If you feel this is reflective of your values, we’d love to see you as part of our family!
