Is the company continuing to grow fast? Is growth accelerating?

We had another great year in 2018 indeed, what you’d except from a SaaS company.

We’re also proud of the new companies and universities who joined us across Europe and the USA.

It is not easy actually to accelerate growth versus last year as we are starting from a larger revenue base. For 2019, we expect to achieve similar growth as last year which would be great.

We also want to manage the risks associated with high growth, like ensuring we are not rushed into our hires as well as ensuring we are able to deliver an exceptional experience for our existing clients.

This is partly why we kept our last fundraise to a certain level.

Sustaining or perhaps accelerating growth would likely require another fundraise, something we will be considering at some point not too far down the line.

Have you had experiences with companies accelerating too slow or too fast? Any take-aways you can share?

I don’t think companies can grow too quick (profitably). Supporting the company during a high growth period can be difficult though!
