Thanks for your question.
I believe there are several qualities that I think would make an intern more prone to be successful and you might have heard some of these before. Firstly, I think, when one demonstrates its willingness to get involved, complete tasks with passion and shows their curiosity for the way things work, colleagues will notice that you care about the work you do and that you want to get a lot out of this experience.
Moreover, I think communication skills are also crucial. I have done all of my internship remotely and I can definitely say that good communication makes people aware of where things are, what is expected of you, and how you are getting along with things.
This has been my first internship experience and I still obviously have much more to learn but if I were to point out a couple of areas that would benefit your experience, it would be these 2.
