Can you share your career development since you joined?

Hi Gisele,
When I joined Pathmotion I was closely collaborating with the CEO and the stakeholders on understanding the business and priorities of the company. Since then I become more independent and now I take all the responsibilities related to a project, making sure to collaborate with the right people and update the stakeholders when necessary.

In terms of career, nothing changed because I already joined the company in a very senior position. As for software engineers, I do not really know on their career progression, but we had a couple of promotions in other teams this year.

Hello Gisele, I joined pathmotion 2 years ago, and to be honest my salary still the same since then, in term of position we consider in our team a flat structure, everyone has leadership on various projects and we intervene in several levels, in my case it can be software architechture, backend developement, data science and data engineering, so my position is simply software engineer.

HI, and thank you for you replies, I am not as senior as you are, but I think that career progression perspectives are important when we want to integrate a company, if in 2 years (sorry for you) you did not have any salary increase, this means that Pathmotion do not want to keep their engineers, especially when they have always more and more to do.
Leadership and independence are really good thing to have in the life of an engineer, but transparency and motivation are also important.
