Can you tell me about how PathMotion aids with diversity and inclusion within an organisation?
Additional information
I recently attended an HR event and this seemed to be the most pressing issue for the majority of companies that I engaged with.

Hi Dan,
Great question and agree this is a key topic of discussion currently within the HR space. There is a lot of compelling research proving that companies with a diverse workforce actually perform better so no wonder! As a report by McKinsey points out, drivers include broadening the talent pool, stronger customer loyalty through representation and more satisfied employees.
A lot of organisations however realise they can do better and we a recent study we conducted showed most companies lose diverse candidates at the top of the funnel, more specifically when they visit the career site. Many candidates find that employers don’t provide enough important information on their website and even when they do so it seems scripted and corporate.
Our platform helps our clients tell and prove that they have a diverse workforce or that they are actually genuinely working on getting there (there's no harm in admitting it's not perfect and that you are working on it rather than paint a rosy picture) by letting their employees talk about it in an authentic way by sharing their real life stories in the job.
Through the PathMotion discussion platform and our Live Chat Events employees from diverse backgrounds answer candidates’ genuine questions and concerns. You can find a few examples of discussions from Citi here:
"Are there many senior openly out LGBT people at Citi?" https://citi-emea.career-inspiration.com/app/discussions/view/33587/are-there-many-senior-openly-out-lgbt-people-at-citi
"Identifying as bisexual and from BME groud, do I have to be out and open at work or I can be only to my LGBT allies?" https://citi-emea.career-inspiration.com/app/discussions/view/55156/identifying-as-bisexual-and-from-bme-groud-do-i-have-to-be-out-and-open-at-work-or-i-can-be-only-to-my-lgbt-allies
Have seen other interesting initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion? Anything interesting insights from the conference you attended?

It seemed that the people that I spoke with were there to look for answers. I didn’t meet a single person (that mentioned diversity) that had a solid process in place.
It’s difficult enough to find the right person for a role, let alone with the added pressure of maintaining and cultivating a diverse and inclusive company culture.
I’ve seen meet-ups and groups that encourage inclusion, often chaired by senior employees from large organisations, but having an online platform where candidates can address any concerns that they have will allow them to talk more candidly.
I think it’s fantastic that PathMotion can help candidates to feel secure and welcome!

Thanks for the feedback Dan :)
Agree it’s a difficult challenge to tackle. We’ll release an e-book on the topic in March based on comprehensive research we conducted amongst both candidates and employers.
