The Marketing team is brand new, and there's a lot of work to be done - so the most important qualities I'm looking for in team members are: self-motivation, reliability, and credibility. I'll be counting on my team to know what they need to be working on, prioritise their tasks, and get it done on time. When that's not possible or things go wrong (things go wrong - we're all human), I count on my team to take ownership of what they could have done better and to learn from it.
PathMotion is the kind of company where we work hard, but we don't overwork. We plan as best we can, and when the plan doesn't work, we pivot and think on our feet. Most importantly for me, as a team, we value honesty and openness about what's working and not working - if you mess up, it's okay as long as you're willing to own it, ask for help, and learn from it.

Hi Liz, thanks for sharing this. I really think we perform better when we're trusted and enabled to take ownership when we know our contribution matters.
